In 2017, I graduated from UMP (Université Mohammed Premier) with a Bachelor's degree in Fundamental Studies of Earth and Universe Sciences. Following that, I pursued an Inter-Universities Master's Degree in Quaternary Archaeology and Human Evolution within the Erasmus Mundus program at URV (Rovira i Virgili University) from 2019 to 2021. I am beneficiary of a pre-doctoral Joan Oró grant for research (FI 2023) fellowship funded by AGUAR and co-financed by the European Union (2023-2026, Ref.2023 FI-100578). This funding supports my ongoing Ph.D. dissertation at URV in Quaternary and Prehistory. My research is supervised by Dr. M. Gema Chacón and Juan Ignacio Morales from IPHES and Prof. Hassan Aouraghe from the University of Mohamed I in Oujda, Morocco. The aim is to investigate the territorial management of Homo sapiens in Eastern Morocco throughout the Middle and Later Stone Age periods. To accomplish this goal, I am examining the geographic features and sites characteristics located in the Aïn Beni Mathar and Guefaït regions, employing a combination of remote sensing and spatial analysis approaches.
