Research interests
Archaeopalynology, Archaeobotany, Vegetation History, Palaeoecology and Taphonomy (microenvironmental conditions and site formation through the Non Pollen Palynomorphs study).

My professional activity is focused in the study of pollen, spores and other vegetal microremains. Generally I carry out the sampling in the archaeological sites or natural deposits, the extraction of the palynological residue in the laboratory and the identification and quantification of the samples.
All of these phases contribute to generate a corpus data that holds part of the research activity of the Archeobotanical area.
Specifically, the main objective of the palynological analysis is to reconstruct the environment and climate conditions of the human occupations that are documented in the different archaeological sites studied for the IPHES researchers.
