I graduated from the University of Bologna (Italy), Faculty of History, Department of Humanities in 2016. I completed my Master Double Degree at the University of Ferrara (Italy) and the University of Toulouse (France) in 2019. I enhanced my archaeological experience working in rescue archaeology in Italy, France and Germany, and giving guided tours in the Museum of Prehistory in Bologna (Italy).

Currently, I continue my PhD studies with a Predoctoral Grant (FPI; PRE2022-102878) supervised by Dr. Amélia Bargallò Ferrerons and Prof. Marco Peresani. The focus of my PhD project is the comparison between experimental lithic assemblages with archaeological ones from Middle and Upper Palaeolithic sites in Italy in order to detect knapping skills and learning mechanisms. My main research interests are lithics, Neanderthal and Sapiens cognition, the evolution of knapping learning and the identification of knapping behaviour.
