Amèlia Bargalló Ferrerons is a pot-doctoral fellow (Juan de la Cierva-Incorporacion IJCI-2019-041546-I) at the IPHES.

Her research focuses on stone tools and human cognitive evolution. During her pre-doctoral studies she done my Ph.D. between two universities (Universitat Rovira i Virgili URV and Universita degli Studi di Ferrara getting the European PhD. 2014 in Variability of the lithic technology and spatial patterns in Middle Paleolithic. In 2015 she was awarded Research prize International Doctorate by URV. During this periode she was working in the HAR2012-32548 ARQUEOMONA II it allowed her to acquire practical training in primate behavior.

In and in 2016 she started her postdoctoral fellow MSCA-IF PREKARN nº702584 in University College London. In 2019 the REKARN project has beenselected for publication in CORDIS website.

Her current research focuses on stone tool and particularly the research to understand and identifying the emergence of technology and its socialization in differents stage of human evolution.
