Graduate of the Escola Superior de Conservación e Restauración de Bens Culturais de Galicia (ESCRBCG) as a conservator-restorer, he later completed a Master's degree in Quaternary Archaeology and Human Evolution, as well as a PhD in Quaternary Archaeology at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). His research focuses on evaluating cleaning treatments applied to archaeological bone material and the characterisation of trophic modifications caused by them.
