After being graduated in History at the University Rovira i Virgili in 2011, I continued my specialization in prehistoric archaeology in the Master in Quaternary and Prehistory at the same university. I improved my knowledge of archaeozoology and taphonomy at the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris during my Erasmus Mundus student mobility. I obtained my Master degree in 2013.
The same year, I was awarded a predoctoral grant (FPU) from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. I joined IPHES to develop my PhD project, although I have been collaborating with the institution since I began my higher education, participating in excavations and laboratory works.
Nowadays, I focus my research on the study of small prey consumption during the Late Pleistocene, and its relevance to gain knowledge on the interaction between hominins and carnivores in archaeological sites. I am part of the AGAUR research group 2014-SGR-900  called “Grup d'anàlisis de processos socioecològics, canvis culturals i dinàmiques de població a la Prehistòria (GAPS)”. I also take part in the collaborative regional project “Entre plaines et montagnes: espaces de subsistance et expressions culturelles au Paléolithique moyen dans le Massif central (Auvergne-Ardèche)”, promoted by the French Ministry of Culture and coordinated by J.-P. Raynal and M.-H. Moncel.
