Graduated in History in 2015 (USC – Universidade de Santiago de Compostela) and Erasmus Mundus Master in Quaternary and Prehistory in 2017 (Universitat Rovira i Virgili).

Currently, I am the beneficiary of a Predoctoral Fellowship (PRE2019-087734) linked to the research project “Eco-Social behaviour of the Sierra de Atapuerca hominins during Quaternary, V” (PGC2018-093925-B-C32) with the financial sponsorship of the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.

The main aim of my PhD dissertation is the study of the chaîne opératoire of knapped bone tools in Middle and Upper Pleistocene from Europe, with special emphasis on Atapuerca and Abric Romaní sites, to increase our current knowledge about the hominins’ subsistence strategies. This research proposes an interdisciplinary methodology with three complementary branches: vertebrate taphonomy, use-wear analysis, technology, complemented with microscopy techniques, actualism, experimentation and photogrammetry.
