Since 1991 I have participated in the research and field work in co-operation with different institutions and research centers (UdG, UB, UAB, CENIEH, UAM, Gibraltar Museum, Cardiff University, UCL, IVPP).
Research lines developed from Pleistocene and Holocene records in Europe, Caucasus and China:
- Study of fuel as an energy resource and its importance in human evolution.
- Transformation and evolution of tree cover to analyze the possible natural or anthropogenic causes.
- Anthracological taphonomy to understanding the formation processes of the charcoal assemblages.
